
Project Manager Details
Location: Portland, OR
Job Type: Part-time/Full-time, In-Person
Position Overview
As our Project Manager, you’ll oversee active remodeling projects, coordinate schedules, manage subcontractors, stay in touch with clients, and keep everything running on time and on budget. You’ll bridge the gap between design and construction, making sure what’s planned on paper actually happens in the field.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day operations on active job sites
- Schedule and coordinate subcontractors, deliveries, and inspections
- Maintain direct communication with clients throughout the construction phase
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor quality, progress, and resolve issues
- Collaborate with designers to ensure project intent is met in the field
- Keep project timelines and budgets on track using JobTread or similar software
- Document progress, issues, and decisions clearly and consistently
- Lead final walkthroughs and manage punch lists through to completion
Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in residential remodeling or construction project management
- Proven ability to coordinate crews and keep multiple jobs moving
- Strong communication and decision-making skills
- Comfortable leading job sites and working directly with clients
- Familiarity with building codes, inspections, and Portland-area permitting
- Experience with project management software (JobTread, Buildertrend, CoConstruct, etc.) is a plus
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
