1-2 Weeks
First Contact-During the phase we will get acquainted to see if we are a fit for each other, diving into your vision and making sure we can produce and deliver on your expectations. We will talk about the schedule, your role on the project, and what you can expect from us.
3-4 Weeks
The pre-construction service agreement- Prior to entering into a construction agreement, there will be a pre-construction agreement that includes the cost for design, a detailed estimate, and a detailed project timeline. The PSA agreement will sometimes require materials testing for lead and asbestos, and minor demolition work in order to create a guaranteed project price for you. At the end of the PSA process, we will go over the scope of work, project plan, progress payments, timelines, logistics and more.
3-8 Weeks
Construction Process- Once you have approved our project proposal, we discuss the next steps and start ordering materials and finishes, schedule subcontractors, and coordinate pre-construction items. Duration varies depending on the scope and complexity of your project. Smaller projects could have a quicker turnaround of 1-2 weeks, whereas larger, more complex projects can span over several months.
Noteworthy
In-Process Changes- Even with great planning and preparation, your project may have unexpected surprises. We do our best to limit these surprises during the planning phase. You may also want to make changes along the way as you see the project come together. We will discuss all changes prior to completing the work, and how the new scope will affect pricing and the timeline of your project. You can rest assured that only after receiving your approval we will move forward with the new plan.
